#201 ND - Agronomy Sales 

A progressive and growing retail client of ours is seeking a strong Agronomy Salesperson in their territory with tremendous potential.  Candidate should have diverse agronomy skills and demonstrated sales ability.  Seed, crop consulting, and precision Ag will be the core focus of efforts.  SEED SALES is extremely important in this position.

#333 ND - Grain Merchandiser

A well-respected Grain Elevator is looking for an experienced Grain Merchandiser.  The only reason that they are looking for a Grain Merchandiser is because their current Merchandiser will be moving back as a partner in the family farm.  This is a very progressive independent grain operation that sits on a rail, and they also have a short line railroad to go back and forth between their 2 locations. 

 

There are a lot of positive things going on within this company and it is very possible that this person could be the beginning of more grain marketing hires in the near future, as well.  They have very good relationships with their growers, as this specific company has been family-owned for many years.  Like I mentioned, that with the growth of their grain department, they are flexible with hiring someone with minimal experience, or someone with a lot of experience.  Compensation will depend on experience, of course, and they may be open to hiring someone a little "greener" to go along with a more experienced Merchandiser. 

This person will need to keep and develop relationships with grain producers, purchase grain, hedge grain purchases, manage placement of local railroad cars, manage futures, coordinate sales of grain and corn screenings, etc.

Knowledge and experience in the grain business and with its origination, marketing and merchandising are key and this person MUST have that experience.  This position will compensate fairly and they offer full benefits including insurance, 401k, vacation, etc.

#125 ND - Farm Hand

A profitable farmer is looking for a good ranch and cropping employee. This person MUST have a strong background in crops. The right candidate will be able to operate basic farm equipment, sprayers, loaders, etc. This is a great position for someone that has Agriculture in their blood! This opportunity is different than most farmhand positions --- a person can grow within the farm and move into management, as this is a large farm, but is run by the family and those who work here are treated like family! This person MUST have a general farming background -- the more, the better! A CDL is preferred, but will train and be willing to get an applicators license (or currently have one). If you are looking for a position in the Ag business where you can be an integral part of a farming operation without the risk of owning one, this is the opportunity for you as they are looking to hire when they find the right person. #540 ND - Agronomy Location Mgr

An extremely strong, professional agribusiness needs both a dedicated and aggressive individual to handle a $3M location and a more experienced Location Manager for a $5M location.  The Manager of the smaller location will oversee 4-5 people and oversee all agronomy, seed, chemical and custom application.  The larger location would oversee 8-10 people.
